The first page of a Utah decree. Filed in the clerk’s office, Salt Lake County, on 7 June 1973. Letterhead of George H. Searle, attorney for the plaintiff, Salt Lake City, with the telephone number blacked out. In the Third Judicial District Court, Salt Lake County. Jean P. Taylor, plaintiff, versus Martin L. Taylor, defendant. Decree, Case No. D-9048. Heard before the Honorable Stewart M. Hansen on the 1st day of June 1973, the plaintiff appearing in person and represented by George H. Searle, the defendant having entered his appearance and consented that judgment might be entered against him. It is ordered that the plaintiff be granted a divorce, and that the same shall become absolute and final forthwith upon the signing and entry thereof in the official Court records. The plaintiff is not awarded alimony so long as the defendant pays the indebtedness owed on the Kit camp trailer awarded to plaintiff.

Civil No. D 1714, filed 30 July 1970, drafted by James R. Brown. She asked for the house in Magna, a hundred dollars a month, and her former name back.

Case No. D 9048, filed 27 November 1972, George H. Searle acting for her. The same house. The same request that the name Thomas be restored to her. A hundred dollars a month for five years, or no alimony at all if he paid off what was owed on the Kit camp trailer.

Heard on 1 June 1973 before the Honorable Stewart M. Hansen. He entered his appearance and did not contest it. The decree was signed and filed on 7 June, and made absolute and final forthwith, with no three month wait. She was awarded the house in Magna, the furniture in it, the 1972 Toyota, the 1960 Volkswagen and the 1972 Kit camp trailer. He was awarded a pickup truck and camper, and ordered to pay the joint debts, including what was owed on the trailer. No alimony, so long as he paid it.
